One Night of Mercy

Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries works with local lodging businesses to provide a night of shelter to those in need.

This year marks the Fifth year for the One Night of Mercy program.   Each year SMARM approaches the lodging businesses of Sevier County to join in this fun raising event by pledging $1 for each room/condo/ cabin rented out on this one night.  Over the years, several of our local lodging businesses have seen this as a way to support the local ministries of SMARM.  Last  year, several local retail stores joined us also by pledging a portion of the proceeds for that day.

Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries (SMARM), a Christian Ministry in Sevier County Tennessee serving the homeless and needy in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg TN.  Programs include Hot Meals for Hungry Hearts, Winter Coat Day, and Christian counseling.  Annual events and fundraisers to support the ministries' programs include the Night of Mercy Benefit Banquet, Annual Golf Tournament, Annual Hike for the Homeless, and the Annual Gatlinburg Festival of Trees.  Volunteer your time or make donations to serve needy families and individuals in Sevier County TN directly through Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries or our Treasures of the Heart Thrift Store in Sevierville.
