We continue to see families that need a good hot meal and we continue to share the love of Christ with them as we fellowship around the dinner table.
One home-cooked, hot meal coming up! Every THURSDAY night (previously, it was on Tuesdays), a group of volunteers cook up a wonderful, hot meal for those who might not otherwise get a hot meal that night or any other night. Hot Meals for Hungry Hearts has been a program of SMARM for 2 years now.
For the past 2 years, Parkway Church of God has generously allowed SMARM volunteers the use of their fellowship hall to host the dinners. The good news is that the Parkway Church of God has now moved into a larger, newer church facility, which is not as conducive to hosting the meal. Our sincere thanks goes out to Parkway Church of God for 2 years of working together.
First United Methodist Church of Sevierville has graciously opened their church to the Hot Meals Program. Beginning in June of this year, the Hot Meals programs is now being served on Thursday nights at 5:30 PM. at the FUMC Sevierville at 214 Cedar Street.
