The voice of God’s gladness speaks in me as to how wonderful it is to live in Sevier County….with its mountains, people, energy and goodness. The voice of the world’s sadness speaks in me as to the realities of poverty, hardships, poor life choices and need. In Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries I am able to speak God’s voice to the world as we work sadness to joy, despair to hope. In SMARM needs and hopes are responded to in Christ’s love.

Fulfilling God’s call through SMARM is an honor and a privilege.
