The Need
Large numbers of residents are just one paycheck away from true homelessness.
• Over 20% of Sevier County residents receive public assistance.
• Over 60% of Sevier County Students receive free or reduced school meal assistance
• Several thousand people request our assistance each year and over 90% of those numbers represent families in need and the remaining numbers are individuals.
• Many are in need of emergency shelter, utility bill or rent subsidies, medications, clothing, food, etc and most important, Christian counseling.
Our Response
• We screen all applicants to ensure the need is justified.
• We provide Christian counseling to assure them that they can find emotional support through faith in Christ.
• We provide emergency assistance to help meet their needs and refer them to other sources of help when needed.
• We provide recovery services that often allow the family to become productive and self-sufficient members of our community again.

Due to the increase in requests for shelter and other services, the need for shelter-based relief and rescue is at a critical juncture. To this end, both our Board of Directors and our ministry staff are fully committed.
