• About 7,000 of the 76,000 residents of Sevier County receive public assistance. • 51% of our school children are on free or assisted meal programs. • Over 2,000 people came to us for assistance last year, and 90% of them were families. Many are in need of emergency support such as shelter, utility bill payment, rent supplements, car repairs, gasoline, food, clothing and most importantly, Christian counseling.
