HOW YOU CAN HELP

OUR MISSION : To rescue our needy neighbors by providing recovery services in Jesus’ name.

OUR ORGANIZATION : Is a Sevier County, faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

THE NEED :

➢ Large numbers of residents are just one paycheck away from true homelessness.

➢ About 7,000 of the 76,000 residents of Sevier County receive public assistance.

➢ 51% of our school children are on free or assisted meal programs.

➢ Over 2,000 people came to us for assistance last year and 90% of them were families.

➢ Many are in need of emergency support; i.e., shelter, utility bill, rent supplements, car repairs, gasoline, food, clothing and most importantly, Christian counseling.

OUR RESPONSE:

➢ We screen all applicants to ensure the need is justified.

➢ We provide Christian counseling to assure them that they can find emotional support through faith in Christ.

➢ We provide emergency assistance to help meet their needs and refer them to other sources of help when needed.

➢ We provide recovery services that often allow the family to become productive and self-sufficient members of our community again.

YOU CAN HELP:

By providing financial assistance and by volunteer support of out ministry.

Your contribution can make the difference between a home and homelessness, a hot meal or hunger, and joblessness or full employment.
